Ringing in the New Year 2014!

We had an awesome first family vacation with my sister and her family ringing in the new year at Stone "Snow" Mountain Park.

We spent the first day roaming around the park, enjoying the last day celebrating Christmas.

We rode a train around Stone Mountain.

After the train, we headed over to the sky ride which takes you to the top of the mountain and you can out and explore. It was so incredible and the view was breathtaking!

We ended the night with watching shows and the Christmas parade! The park was lit up with lights everywhere. It was so pretty!

The next day was SNOW day! So much fun!!! It was our kids first time in snow!

Fi was so brave and went down the big "family" tube slide with her daddy and cousin. Her face was priceless when she got off the ride! She loved it!

There was also little tubes Fi could go on by herself and she loved that too!

On the other side they had sleds for the toddlers so E got to take his turn. He loved it!! Fi was small enough to go down with him. It was so cute watching them go together.

Snow day was awesome! We hope to go back next year! Stone Mountain Park also has activities all year round... You can visit them at www.stonemountainpark.com or they have an app you can download on your phone!

2014 is off to a great start and we hope yours is too! Excited to see what's it store for us. Happy New Year!

Let's try this blog thing...

I've always wanted to start a blog and write about the little things that my kids (my two little peaches... get it?) do everyday. I wish I would have started it sooner, when I was pregnant with my first, but life got ahead of us and well I just didn't have the time to sit down since I was caring for newborns and chasing toddlers.

Fast forward to today still chasing toddlers... my daughter, Fi, is 3 years old and my son, E, just turned 20 months. I can't believe my son is the same age my daughter was when I had him. Life has definitely been moving way too fast and speaking of moves, we just relocated to a new city about seven months ago so that in itself has been an adventure which I will save for another post.

Anyways, here I am and ready to update our family, friends and whoever else decides to read this with our life and our journey as a family of four.

Thanks for following!
